What is the process of screen printing?
The process of screen printing typically involves the following steps:
• Prepare artwork that will be applied to the surface of your material.
• Transfer the design to a mesh screen which will be used as a stencil.
• Ink is applied and a squeegee is trailed across the screen to fill in the open mesh areas with ink.
• The garment is put through a dryer to heat and cure the ink.
• Only one color is printed per screen, so the process is repeated for additional colors or layers.
